How to Update the OKX APK on Android (Without Losing Anything)

Apps installed from Google Play update automatically. If you installed OKX from an APK file, updates work a little differently. Staying current matters because updates include security patches as well as new features.

Option 1: Update from inside the app

When a new version is released, OKX usually shows an update prompt inside the app. Tap Update and follow the steps. Android may ask you to confirm the install, which is normal.

Option 2: Download the latest APK manually

1. Go to the download page and tap the download button to get the latest APK from okx.com.
2. Open the file from your Downloads folder.
3. Tap Update. Because the new file is signed by the same developer, it installs over your current version and keeps your login.

If the update fails

• “App not installed”: your current copy may be from a different source. Uninstall it, then install the new APK. See our full fix guide.
• Not enough space: free at least 500 MB.
• Install blocked: allow Install unknown apps for your browser again.

How to check your current version

Go to Settings → Apps → OKX and scroll to the bottom to see the version number, or check the About section inside the app.
