Withdrawing crypto is simple, but one wrong choice, usually the network, can send funds somewhere they cannot be recovered. Follow these steps carefully.
Step-by-step
- Open Assets and tap Withdraw.
- Choose the coin, for example USDT.
- Select On-chain withdrawal.
- Paste the destination address. Double-check the first and last several characters.
- Choose the network that the receiving wallet or exchange supports.
- Add a memo or tag if the destination requires one.
- Enter the amount, review the network fee and confirm with your security codes.
Choosing the right network
The same coin can exist on several blockchains. USDT, for example, is available on multiple networks. The sending and receiving side must use the same network. Check the deposit page of the receiving platform to see which networks it accepts.
Memos and tags
Some coins and some exchanges need a memo, tag or destination ID to credit your account. If the deposit page shows one, you must include it.
Safety checklist
- Send a small test amount first for a new address.
- Use a withdrawal address whitelist.
- Beware of clipboard malware: always verify the pasted address.
- Never withdraw to an address given by someone promising guaranteed returns.
