Auto-Confirm is an OKX Wallet setting that signs your market orders, limit orders and order changes automatically, so you don't have to enter a password, use biometrics or open the extension for every trade. It only covers trading. Transfers, token approvals and NFT or DeFi transactions still need your manual confirmation, and a daily limit sends larger trades back to manual signing.
What Auto-Confirm covers
| Covered | Not covered | |
| Actions | Market orders, limit orders, order management | Transfers, approvals, NFT and DeFi transactions |
| Networks (app) | Solana and all EVM chains | Other networks |
| Networks (web) | Solana, SUI and all EVM chains | Other networks |
Social login accounts have Auto-Confirm on by default. Seed phrase (EOA) accounts must switch it on themselves.
How to turn it on
On the web or extension
- Click your wallet account name in the top-right corner and choose Auto-Confirm, or open the extension and go to Settings → Wallet lock → Auto-Confirm.
- Set the screen lock time.
- Switch Auto-Confirm on.
In the app (seed phrase accounts)
- Open OKX DEX.
- Tap Settings in the top-right corner.
- Switch on Auto-Confirm. Use the same path to switch it off.
Don't have OKX Wallet yet? You can create one through our OKX Wallet invite link (referral link), which gives a 0–10% DEX trading fee discount depending on the code.
The safety limits built in
- Daily limit: trades above it need manual confirmation. The limit resets every day at 00:00 UTC.
- Device binding: it only works on your verified device. A new device needs re-verification with your password or by importing your seed phrase wallet.
- App idle check: after the app is backgrounded, closed or idle for a while, the first trade asks for biometrics again.
- Risky devices: the app disables Auto-Confirm if it detects tools that can change app behaviour, such as Xposed, LSPosed, HttpCanary or app-cloning tools.
- Extension lock: on web it works only on the OKX Wallet website and pauses while the wallet is locked; the first trade after unlocking may ask for your password.
OKX states that it does not hold users' funds or private keys.
Auto-Confirm or Trader Mode?
Both reduce signing for trades, but they are separate features. Auto-Confirm signs market and limit orders on your device within a daily limit. Trader Mode is switched on for 7, 15 or 30 days and adds take-profit/stop-loss and copy trading with signing in a trusted execution environment. See our Trader Mode guide.
Should you turn it on?
- Yes if you trade often and want fast fills, especially on volatile tokens.
- Be careful on shared or untrusted computers, and keep the screen lock time short.
- Remember that every auto-confirmed order still spends real funds. Double-check token and amount before clicking.
